• Material wastage — Real-world projects require additional material allowances for wastage, spillage, irregular shapes, and rebar. Our estimates do not automatically include appropriate wastage factors.
• Mix ratios & strength — Appropriate concrete mix ratios depend on structural loading, environmental exposure, and applicable building standards (e.g. Eurocode, BS 8500, ACI 318). Our calculators use general reference ratios only.
• Building regulations — Construction work in any jurisdiction is subject to local building codes, planning permissions, and structural regulations. Our tools have no knowledge of your local requirements.
